In most companies the first responsibility is to the customer. But for Craig Gallagher, the owner and developer of Bella Terra, his first responsibility was to the land, knowing that future residents would benefit from this belief. Craig and his sons would often camp and fish among the oaks and pines and he came to realize that he had to preserve this land for future generations. It was then that he decided to make it into one of the premier equestrian communities in Florida. The idea for Bella Terra was born.
After purchasing the land, he asked David Williams to head the development team. David, a long-time resident of Pasco County, has developed environmentally sensitive communities such as The Reserves at Golden Acres and Crescent Forest. Both Craig and David share the vision and dedication of preserving the natural elements of Bella Terra, one of the few unspoiled horse communities Central Florida has to offer.

We knew our focus would be different. Preserving the land’s natural integrity was our priority. Experienced land architects were commissioned to determine the best use of space, and they’ve ensured that the landscape, so unique to this part of Florida, remains intact. “They recommended that the land be developed into large acreage home sites, and that is what I envisioned”, stated Craig Gallagher.
It is our belief that we must maintain the property we are privileged to use by protecting the surrounding environment and natural resources.
